Noby Noby Boy Shirts 0 Comments

It’s been a couple of days since my last post and though I plan to update with part four of the crossword feature later today I thought I’d bring attention to these t-shirts I found on Panic’s site. The Noby shirts are the first eight at the top of the page. I love them. In fact I love most crazy Japanese nonsense. Anyway, take a look and enjoy.

Also, if you use Twitter and would like to be updated whenever I post something new, please follow designment. I wanted “sinceriously,” but it was taken… by someone who doesn’t even use it. Hate. Anyway, happy Friday!

Welcome, IE! 0 Comments

Alright, so I’m a donkey. (That’s right a donkey. That’s Scott Allen’s “nice” way of calling someone an ass.) I waited a full ten days before taking the time to check this blog on a PC, in Internet Explorer… only to learn that it was broken in PC Firefox. And I’m not sure for how long. So, sorry to all you PCers out there. I’ve fixed the Firefox issues, and will QA the site regularly on a PC every time I add something new to one of the sidebars and whatnot.

Furthermore, the site is now 100% accessible by Internet Explorer 7* users. When I finally checked the site in IE there was only minimal damage. Which took me all of about an hour to fix.

I promised to write an article about Internet Explorer, and common problems you should beware of when building cross-browser compatible sites. I hope to write that article soon.

* As of this writing, the site is still inaccessible to anyone who is unfortunate enough to browse using Internet Explorer 6. Maybe I’ll get to troubleshooting for that browser in another 10 days.

Welcome to Sinceriously! 0 Comments

Hi. My name is Ryan Jennings. Welcome to my blog. I’m not a procrastinator, per se, I’m just easily disenchanted.

And that is why this blog is so important. But before I continue, a little history is in order.

I’ve been a designer and front end web developer for a while now. It’s something I enjoy, which made it a nice career choice. In fact, I like it so much that I often steal as much free time as possible to work on personal designment/development (new word) projects. Unfortunately, true “spare time” is few and far between and even quickie projects often get dragged on for weeks or months. This leads to the aforementioned disenchantment which ultimately leads to indefinitely shelved projects.

I have great ideas (at least, I believe with time and effort they’d mature into great ideas), so how can I hold my attention from concept to launch?
